The Masterplan aims to restore the public realm of 400 hectares around the Old Port in a sustainable and Phased plan over a period of 10 years. The first phase was to address and improve the inner city portuary quarters as a functional entity by reducing the impact of motorised vehicular traffic, inter- linking public transport and improving the street scape for pedestrian and non-motorised displacements.
